- Most of the software I've written is not publicly available (it's either so specialized as to be of little use to anyone but me, or it's not yet ready to be previewed) - however, the following are links to projects (or parts thereof) that may be entertaining to some people:
- Invinity Ward / MW2 - Integrated large phpBB forum with a SocialEngine powered community, both backed by a proprietary universal login system. (Developed for Haven Interactive)
- Band Hero - Mosaic - Created a system that allowed users to upload pictures of themselves playing the popular game, a moderation system to approve those images, and a mosaic generator that converted those approved images into a large mosaic based on the Band Hero logo. (Developed for Haven Interactive)
- Transformers Game - Redemption - Created a redemption system so users could exchange in-box codes for in-game game items / downloads (Developed for Haven Interactive)
- Activision Hunts / Number One Hunting Games - CMS, universal login system (Developed for Haven Interactive)
- True Crime Game - CMS, universal login system, FB Connect (Developed for Haven Interactive)
- Prototype Game - Universal Login system (Developed for Haven Interactive)
- Marvel Kids and Superhero Squad - CMS (Developed for Haven Interactive)
- Activision Wishlist - Wishlist logic, universal login system (Developed for Haven Interactive)
- Skeeter FX Website - CMS (Developed for Haven Interactive)
- Activision Forums - Integrated phpBB with proprietary Universal Login system (Developed for Haven Interactive)
- Vobbo.com.
I recently finished working on the first phase of Vobbo.com - a site I hope will become very popular in the near future. Vobbo is a templated blogging application that seems to be one of the first on the internet to allow users to record live video entries. Sure, anyone can let you type out text, but you don't see LiveJournal, Blogger, and MySpace letting you record video, do you? There's some other great features that come from the hosting side of my brain - ability to use your own URLs, email forwarding, etc, but the live video sure is nice. (This project launched in early 05. Since then, YouTube appeared, MySpace and Facebook evolved, and Vobbo got taken over by cell phone pornography originating in southeast Asia. We turned Vobbo off at the end of 2009 when the day to day cleaning became too much to handle).
- MetLotus.com (Developed for Haven Interactive)
- Gimp.TV (Developed for Haven Interactive)
- Preliminary motion capture examples for a robotic gun turret.
The system combined two serial microcontrollers - one to control two motors of the turret, and a second to fire a mounted paintball gun, and a simplistic AI system that could find and track a moving target, and fire when it was reasonably confident of a hit. The system worked quite well.
